So here it is, the last try.
On my last elevator pitch one piece of feedback that I received was that I should try to explain how my "Snack Pack" could be used for sports other than swimming. I am a swimmer myself so it does not surprise me that I talked too much about swimming. I tried to change that this time. I gave a few statistics on other sports, and tried to be more general about the sports that could use the Snack Pack. Overall, I intend my product to be used by every sport! I am just giving examples. Second, classmates suggested I include statistics in my pitch as well, as explained earlier, I did that this time! I included how many calories are burned in an hour, on average, in 3 different sports. Lastly, someone told me to not worry about staying under a minute. This round I just relaxed about time, and ended up finishing under a minute anyways, so that's cool. All in all, I think this pitch was definitely the best. I really appreciated everyone's comments!
I think that you did a good job in your presentation. You did a good incorporating what was suggested from previous pitches into this one and I can see how this product would be useful in different sports. I also agree that being calm and doing the pitch well is more important than the time frame.

I really like this idea. I liked the fact that this was the most logistical idea that I have encountered thus far. I like that you took upon the challenge of incorporating the details of the statistics and adding other sports into the mix.
ReplyDeleteI think you did really well, and I think that better lighting would have made it that much greater.
Overall, good job.

Courtney,
ReplyDeleteYour presentation was really great. Also I'm pretty hungry right now so this idea sounds perfect to me! I think you could expand it even to people who just workout, not necessarily in any sports.
I definitely saw how you incorporated feedback from your last pitches. You seemed calm and casual, but still knowledgeable. Great job. I didn't do an elevator pitch but feel free to check out my blog if you'd like (taylorjnoe.blogspot.com).
