Week 9 Reading Reflection
1) I
was really surprised how many different marketing strategies there are and how
they can differ so greatly between companies.
2) One
part of the reading that was very confusing to me was primary and secondary
data. Why is one taken before another? Why are there two different sets? Isn’t
data just…data?
3) 2
questions I would ask the author…
a. What
do you think the most effective marketing strategy?
b. Do
you believe in guerrilla marketing?
4) I
disagree with the author’s statement about the internet not being an effective
marketing tool because of its limited audience. This book must be outdated,
because while internet marketing won’t cover every person, it will cover a significant
amount, especially if the business is targeting teenagers and young adults.
